I used lakeaustin.com to look into water activities and ended up booking a day out on the lake. I was expecting a easy, laid-back experience, and once we were actually on the water, it mostly delivered. The kayaking and paddleboarding were a lot of fun, and the views made it feel worth the trip.
The part that didn’t quite meet my expectations was the planning beforehand. I thought it would be simple to find the basics, but details like times, what to bring, and what to expect took a little more digging than I would’ve liked. It wasn’t a huge problem, just a bit more confusing than it needed to be.

Overall, I’m glad we went and we did have a good time. I’d probably use it again, but I’d go in expecting to ask a few extra questions or double-check details ahead of time. Fun experience, just not the smoothest from start to finish.

I went into the fitness class feeling motivated, like this was going to be the thing that finally got me back into a routine. But once it started, the energy just wasn’t there. The trainer seemed kind of checked out, almost like they didn’t really want to be there, and the whole class felt a bit unorganized. People were looking around trying to figure out what to do next, and it never really found a good flow. I still got some movement in, but i left feeling more disappointed than energized.

The menu was way too limited. I kept looking through it hoping something would sound good, but there just wasn’t much I actually wanted. It kind of felt like being trapped into picking from a handful of options I wasn’t excited about

The place itself was fine, so maybe it was just my visit, but the staff kind of made the whole experience uncomfortable. I felt like I was being brushed off when I asked simple questions, and it didn’t come across very professional. Not sure if anyone else had the same vibe?

The room was generally clean and fine for my stay, but I did notice a dusty corner that seemed to have been missed. It’s a small thing, but guests deserve a room that feels fully looked after.

I booked this place mostly for the lake view, but it wasn’t as relaxing as I expected. There were loud boats going by often, and the whole area didn’t feel very private. On top of that, some things seemed like they’d been handled carelessly, which just added to the disappointment. For the price, I really don’t think it was worth it

We came here for our anniversary and the place itself was really pretty, so it started off feeling special. The food and overall vibe were nice, but the service was uneven and our dinner ended up taking longer than expected. I’d say it was a bit hit or miss for us.

The staff were nice when they came by, so I don’t think they were rude or anything, just seemed really busy or a little unorganized.

I stayed at Lake Austin for a quick break, and the room looked good when I first walked in. It was clean, quiet, and the view was definitely a nice bonus.
That said, the comfort level didn’t really match what I had in mind. The bed felt too firm for me, the pillows were kind of flat, and the AC was louder than I expected at night, so I didn’t sleep as well as I hoped.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but for the price I expected the room to feel a little more relaxing and comfortable. I’d say it was just okay, so 3 stars from me

I had a spa treatment here and it was so relaxing. My therapist was really kind, checked in about the pressure, and literally didn’t rush a single part of it.
